I live with my son and wife of 28 years in Southern California. I’m a volleyball aficionado, having played about thirty years now. I have two offices that cover the San Diego North County areas.

Here's a little about my practice. I am an informal, low-keyed warmer fuzzier type. But I deal directly with problems, using CBT, emphasizing support/non-judgment. I'm pretty active in therapy. I'm not the kind of therapist who just sits back and doesn't contribute.

I work on anxiety and depression and lots of issues. My practice is filled with marital/relationship and employment problems. I fix self-esteems and teach people how to be assertive. I am a child psychologist, too, so I specialize in kid issues (acting out and general behavior problems, ADHD...).

Lately, I've begun writing ebooks (now about thirteen) that help people master these psychology problems. The latest three are on Procrastination, Guilt and Forgiveness--the trifecta of ambivalence disorders. . Seems like this is a great way to reach lots and lots of people very fast, providing them with effective ways to solve behavior problems.

In therapy I accept almost all managed care programs (EAP's, PPO's, HMO's EPO's), if that is best for the client.
